I have always been lucky in that I have always had a pony
or horse around me at most times.
The American Quarter Horse has only just come into our
lifes in the last few years. And WOW what a breed,
even my hushand Vivian,(we all know farmers dislike horse on their fields) has taken to them.
Thay seem more laid back as well has being
willing to have a go at most things,don't worry the stock,
when in the same field or gallop about,come to call,
always happy to see you, and if you don't have time to ride them for a week or so,you can just get them in and off you go whether, its to get the cows in for milking or
go for a trail ride with your friends for a hour or two.
In my time working with horses in this country and abroad, I would have to put the AQH right at the top for all round family horses friend.
