Sparklen Precaution
IMP Mare sire: Sparky Ashwood
Dam: Ambers Pecaution

Well the little Foal as come,
pop into the world on
the 13th of May 08. Which may be unlucky for some
but not for me as I did hope it would be a
Palamino and a pretty filly to boot!!!.

We hope to get the name of Bellvalley Sparklen Gem, she will be knows as Gem.

She was born around 1.00am and 3.00am in between my two trips to check her, she must have really got down to it(she was well chilled half a sleep at 1.00am)
Cus Gem was dry and had suckled Mum in the 2 hours
I had been away.Thank god both well and put out to
the feilds the next morning.

Gem's a week old now and Sparky real
happy with her pretty little filly.

She has such a pretty head, O I just love
looking at her.......

In the Photos below Gem is now just over
2 weeks old, and we we'er taking
her and Mum back out to the feild
has it had been raining, so they had been in
all night and also it gives me a good changes to have,
'hand on time with Gem',
She was a little madam walking to the feild, I mean she think's she a big girl now, But look how well she coming on you cannot beat good grass for the mares to milk on as with
all stock...but boy did she move..

In the next Photos, Gem is nearly 4 weeks old.
We can not be more pleased with the way she is coming on
She look so much like her half sister,
Rhia, who has the same sire Desired Vision go to Rhia page and take a look for yourself when Rhia was at this age.

Gem is become a real favourite with me such a sweet temperament alway pleased to
greet you, a real star in the making.
Next photos taken arout the 20th July 2008.

I don't think I have taken a bad photo
of this filly,
get the camera out and she
just puts on a show.

You can just see by her she saying take one like that then I move my head like that, feet all together yes yes well well, "I am a little star and
you wait till I get to the show ring and show them all"

O O MUM wait for Meeeee

Spark's saying hello to her
buddy on the last leg of a
trail ride in 2007.

Sparks and I have gone on 3 sponsored trail rides.
I must say she well up for it,
we did 17 miles on one (was suppose to be 10 miles...let's just say our map reading has got to improve....)
A group of us all meet at the start and just chit chat all the way around.
Its nice just to enjoy the horses the lovely
views, and not to be in a compaction,
which at some dog shows can really put a damper on things.
Sometime you wonder if the person at the end of the lead really cares
about the dog or just the winning. yes a lot can be said about the Judges
BUT 'hey it's my hobby not my life'
Enjoy the day out is are motto but most of all enjoy your DOGS.

Anyway getting back to the ride after 17 miles I was
How can I put this 'knackered' but Sparks was well up for going on, Well
it did take a bit of thinking how the hell
was I going to get off.....
would my legs buckle on landing you know....
end up sitting on my ass has a group
of fit teenagers come galloping by fresh as daisy after the 25 mile ride,
Thinking that, that lot of old women should have stayed
at home, to tell the truth I may have been thinking that at that point....
well old Sparks stood like a lamb till the blood got back to my feet

As you can see poor old Sparks as put up with me
on her back with good grace. She as been coverd by lovely Palomino QH stallion, the foal,"god willing"
will be due in May 2008.

Sparkie out at the end of March,
looking big but well,
She has been their and got the T shirt to Barral raceing, reining trail, and cutting which is good fun with the dairy cows.....
and a broodmare.
